3 images. Andes ducks, 21 March 1952. Mrs. Helen Phillips (with ducks).; Supplementary material reads: "Gershon. City desk. Illus. Andes ducks. No. 1: Mrs. Helen Phillips, holding Puna Teal, rare high Andes Mountains duck shipped to San Pedro as experiment by her amateur ornithologist son, Stanton, from Peru. Nos. 9 and 10: From the high Andes in Peru. These ducks, related to the North American Teal, are shown in quarantine in the Customs Free Trade Zone in San Pedro where they arrived from Peru. Their native haunts are 15,000 feet above sea-level".
