John Phineas Banning -- 18 months (Great great grandson); Robert Johnston Banning (Great grandson); Hancock Banning, Junior (Grandson); Patty Bossard -- 6 years; Linda Bossard -- 5 years; Hancock Banning the Third.; Supplementary material reads: "Two negatives show descendants of General Phineas Banning gathered around his portrait in the Banning Mansion, Banning Park, Wilmington. L.R. Great, great grandson, John Phineas Banning, 18 months, being held hy his father Hancock Banning III, great grandson; Robert Johnston Banning, great grandson; and Hancock Banning, Jr., grandson of the general. Two negatives show seated six-year-old Patty Bossard, of Blue Jay, Calif., seated in front of dressing table, circa civil war, while her five-year-old sister, Linda fixes her hair. Dressing table was in guest room of Banning Mansion which opened today for public inspection after renovation with all original furnishings. One negative shows Patty Bossard holding up dress in front of giant four-poster bed which used to belong to Mrs. Hancock Banning, daughter-in-law of the general.
