Hudson Street, admit 'we don't like the fare increase', but 'it wouldn't be so bad if the service was always good.' 5-6-36: Crowds trying to get on already overloaded buses at Wilshire and Flower Street. No. 9: Mrs. Marie Fitzgerald, 517 South Rampart Street, had what she termed 'a first class complaint' about today's (Thursday) bad service. 'I was so late this morning that I had to take a taxicab downtown.' She boarded Wilshire bus on Olive Street, between Sixth and Seventh. No. 10: A shot into a bus. No. 21: Miss Miriam Sarkon, 3989 West Eight Street, got the surprise of her life when she tried to board a Wilshire bus at the Olive Street stand, between Sixth and Seventh. 'More money, please, madame,' said the polite starter. She had to dig. 45-46-31: Interior of bus. No. 24: 'Folding money' gets its first big play in street transportation business. Here starter at Olive Street stand, between Sixth and Seventh, makes change under the new price".
