[Text Description:] Sargon's Prime Minister and attendant. ❧ [Text or Publication Number Note:] OI A7368 ❧ [Excavation Description:] Found during Oriental Institute's 1928-1935 excavations at the site of ancient Dur-Sharrukin (Fort Sargon), modern Khorsabad, Iraq ❧ [Medium:] Stone ❧ [Script Note:] Non-Alphabetic Cuneiform ❧ [Physical Object Description:] Stone bas relief, of limestone. Rectangular. The figure of the attendant shows signs of reworking (e.g., removal of beard and tassel). ❧ [Physical Object Note:] 2.492 m W x 3.22 m H ❧ [Physical Object Note:] There is an inscription on the back of the relief; the inscription is not accessible at the present time and was not photographed during the 2011 project.
