Spin dynamics and ground-state of a 3D S=1/2 bcc quantum spin-liquid candidate

Description

We have identified a suitable quantum spin liquid (QSL) candidate for the S=1/2 body-centered cubic lattice, where QSL phase have been recently discovered theoretically. We have characterized a polycrystalline sample of NaCa2Cu2(VO4)3 using x-ray diffraction, magnetic measurements, specific heat and polarized neutron diffraction / inelastic scattering. We now wish to confirm the QSL ground-state of NaCa2Cu2(VO4)3 down to mK temperatures and probe the spin dynamics relevant to the QSL regime in the extended region θCW/100 < T < θCW.
