Symmetry, quality, and sexual success in male red-winged blackbirds

<p>These data were collected as part of a field investigation of red-winged blackbirds breeding in the vicinity of QUBS during the breeding seasons of 1993 and 1994. The focus of the investigation was individual variation in subtle departures from perfect morphological symmetry (i.e., fluctuating asymmetry) and its relation to mate quality and male reproductive success.</p>
