Description

Core E87-30 spans a sediment record of approximately 15.25 ka, with a time resolution of several hundred years. The dataset includes bulk organic proxies such as Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Total Nitrogen (TN), and their stable isotopes (δ13C and δ15N), dry bulk density (g cm-3), bulk mass accumulation rate (g cm-2ka-1), and TOC-mass accumulation rate (mg cm-2ka-1). It also encompasses clay mineralogy, including the composition of illite, smectite, kaolinite, and chlorite, as well as the illite chemistry index and illite crystallinity. Additionally, the sediment grain size record consists of laser granular particle size distribution (%) across various size fractions (µm).
