European Health Interview Survey: United Kingdom Data, Wave 2, 2013-2014

The <I>European Health Interview Survey</I> (EHIS) is a major European Union reference source for comparative statistics on health status, health determinants and use of health care services. It is planned that EHIS will be conducted once every five years.<br><br>The first wave of EHIS was launched under an informal agreement and implemented in 17 EU Member States and in Switzerland and Turkey between 2006 and 2009. The second wave of EHIS was completed under a European Parliament and Council regulation. <b>Users should note that the United Kingdom opted out of the first wave and did not take part, so UK EHIS data exist only from Wave 2.
