Description

This composite contains daily precipitation totals from observing sites in the GCIP/GiST domain (the central United States). Data included in the composite are from National Weather Service observing stations, research instrumentation, and various regional and state observing stations. Data have been converted to a common format, standard units, and uniform quality control of the data has been performed. NOTE: Errors have been found in the ABRFC data in this composite. Please see the Data Remarks section of the Readme file for more information.
