View Dataset
Whyntie, Tom

Description

We present some instructions for making a safe source of beta radiation using potassium chloride (KCl). This can then be used for testing the operation of your CERN@school Timepix detector and doing some basic analysis with the Pixelman particle counting software. Instructions are provided within.
