Description

YbTmPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 2.98 Å. Tm is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt atoms. All Tm–Pt bond lengths are 2.98 Å. Pt is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Yb and four equivalent Tm atoms.
