Materials Data on NdZn2Cd by Materials Project

None Available

Description

NdCdZn2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to six equivalent Cd and eight equivalent Zn atoms. All Nd–Cd bond lengths are 3.48 Å. All Nd–Zn bond lengths are 3.01 Å. Cd is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and eight equivalent Zn atoms. All Cd–Zn bond lengths are 3.01 Å. Zn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Nd and four equivalent Cd atoms.
