Description

AcEr3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ac is bonded to twelve equivalent Er atoms to form AcEr12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AcEr12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent AcEr12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra. All Ac–Er bond lengths are 3.63 Å. Er is bonded to four equivalent Ac and eight equivalent Er atoms to form ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent AcEr12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent AcEr12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent ErAc4Er8 cuboctahedra. All Er–Er bond lengths are 3.63 Å.
