Description

DESY-HERA. Measurement of the cross section for the diffractive DIS processE P --& gt; E X P. The data were taken during the years 1999 and 2000 with E+ and E - of energy 27.6 GeV colliding with protons of energy 920 GeV corresponding to acentre-of-mass energy of 319 GeV and have a total integrated luminosity of 28.4 pb-1. Variables used in the analysis include X(NAME=POMERON) equal to 1 - (scattered leading proton energy/ initial proton energy), and BETA equal to X/X(NAME=POMERON). Data on the T distributions and reduced cross sections (D3 and D4) are presented as functions of Q**2, X(NAME=POEMERON), BETA, and T.. Numerical values supplied by M Kapishin.
