CERN LHC. Measurement of the inclusive b-jet production cross section in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The measurement is performed with two different analyses: a 'jet' analysis that selects events with b-jets using a sample with integrated luminosity 34 pb-1, and a 'muon' analysis requiring a b-jet with a muon using a sample with integrated luminosity 3 pb-1. In both, b-jets are identified from the secondary vertex of the b-jet using the anti-kt algorithm with a jet clustering distance of 0.5. The cross section is presented as a function of jet transverse momentum in the range 18 to 200 GeV for several jet rapidity intervals. Results are also given for the b-jet to inclusive-jet ratio. To compare the results from the two methods the data from the 'muon' analysis is extrapolated to the same visible phase-space as the 'jet' analysis using PYTHIA.
