View DatasetDescription
Dataset for "The role of injection method on residual trapping: insights into bridging scales and heterogeneity". There are 4 samples: Edwards carbonate, Indiana carbonate, Berea sandstone, and Bandera sandstone. Each sample is a cylindrical core, 5 cm in diameter and 12 cm in length. Each sample has the following subfolders:Dry scan. This contains scans where the pore space of the sample is saturated with air.Wet scan. This contains scans where the pore space of the sample is saturated with water. H2L or high to low flow. Scans are taken during high flow, during low flow, and at the end of the experiment. There is a repeat experiment denoted by "r".L2H or low to high flow. Scans are taken during low flow, during high flow, and at the end of the experiment. There is a repeat experiment denoted by "r".For further information on the experimental procedure, please see associated manuscript.
