Description

The data originates from national monitoring on the effects of the Finnish agri-environment support scheme (MYTVAS). Abundances of vascular plant species were surveyed on 46 semi-natural grasslands in southern Finland in summers 2000 and 2006 using plots of 0.25 ha and 1 x 1 m. A number of environmental variables were measured: e. g. vegetation height, coverage of litter and bare ground, and soil variables. Additionally, a questionnaire was sent to the land owners to find out the management of the sites. The methods are described in the following publications: Raatikainen, K. 2008. Arvokkaiden perinnebiotooppien kasvillisuuden seuranta Uudellamaalla ja Pirkanmaalla 2000 - 2006. In: Kuussaari, M., Heliölä, J., Tiainen, J., Helenius, J. (Eds.).
