Methyl Valerate Autoignition Data

Weber, Bryan;Bunnell, Justin A.;Kumar, Kamal;Chih-Jen Sung

Description

This folder contains the volume trace information for methyl valerate ignition associated with the work "Experiments and modeling of the autoignition of methyl pentanoate at low to intermediate temperatures and elevated pressures in a rapid compression machine" by Bryan W. Weber, Justin A. Bunnell, Kamal Kumar, and Chih-Jen Sung.
Structure
The folders are structured as follows:
equivalence ratio/end of compression pressure/.[csv,yaml,txt]
Within each folder, there are three files associated with each individual experiment. These files are:
_volume.csv: The volume trace for an experiment
_pressure.txt: The pressure trace for an experiment_volume-trace.yaml: The information used to generate the volume trace, in a format suitable for use with UConnRCMPy
Each filename is formatted with the compressed temperature (Tc), initial pressure (P0), and initial temperature (T0), so that each experiment can be uniquely identified. In addition, the information about all of the experiments is summarized in the ignition-delays.csv file.
