The <i>Family Resources Survey, 1979</i> is a follow-up to the <i>Family Finances Survey, 1978</i> (FFS), conducted by the Department of Health and Social Security. All low-income families interviewed in the FFS were resurveyed 12 months later to look for changes or otherwise in financial circumstances. (The 1978 FFS is not currently available from the UK Data Archive). <br> <br>
