Data for: Avian community response to understory protection harvesting in the boreal forest of Alberta, Canada

Site by species matrix of maximum abundance of each species at each site derived from avian point count data. Data was transcribed using autonomous recording units across four visits to each site. Each visit was a three-minute unlimited distance point count transcribed in the lab using bioacoustics data.
