High resolution distribution map of Shorea robusta in India

The dataset presents the map at 10 m spatial resolution of existing Shorea robusta (Sal) distribution in India. The map have been produced using Sentinel-1 (S1) and Sentinel-2 (S2) satellite data. By incorporating phenological characteristics and structural parameters into a Random Forest classifier, we achieved an overall accuracy of 93%, trained and validated with ground truth data across four states in India.
