Data for: Correlative X-ray Imaging to Reveal the Dissolution of Nanoparticles and Nutrient Transport in Plant Foliar Fertilization

Kristensen, Emil Visby;Wu, Chengpeng;Minutello, Francesco;Szameitat, Augusta;Husted, Søren;Mokso, Rajmund

Description

Using three complementary X-ray methods (Scanning SAXS, µCT and XRF) we probe the dissolution, aggregation and translocation state of foliar applied fertilizers dosed to young barley leaves. Interpreting the time-dependent changes in each of the three signals we show how particles dissolve and some of the fertilizer material translocate to other plant parts while others are left behind. This deposit contains all relevant data used in this study.
