Description

Supplementary dataset of the SEC MALS and WAXS analyses performed on (non)-irradiated cellulosic tissues degraded under hyperalkaline conditions (pH > 13), simulating fresh cement water. Measurements of SEC MALS were performed by Leena Pitkänen and Timo Ylönen (Aalto University, Finland). Measurements of WAXS were performed by Samuel Eyley (KULeuven, Belgium). Datasets accompanying the following paper:Bleyen Nele, Van Gompel Veerle, Eyley Samuel, Durce Delphine, Thielemans Wim and Valcke Elie (2025). New insights in long-term alkaline degradation mechanism of cellulosic materials in radioactive waste. Published in Cellulose (2025): https://doi.org/10.1007/s10570-025-06499-7
