Table 2. Key characters and identification features of 12 species belonging to the podihuna clade (scalpensis group), Sri Lanka. For these species, the dorsal scales are homogeneous, ventral scales are smooth, and subcaudal scales are clearly enlarged, hexagonal, or subhexagonal.
