Description

Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between skins of different breeds (inter-breed comparisons). The types of skin (Bsl, baseline; Str, stressed; Lar, larvae-infested; Nym, nymph-infested) are given for each comparison against the susceptible breed, as named across the sheets. DEGs were calculated using limma R package from Bioconductor software. The up- (positive values) or downregulation (negative values) shown are of expression of genes from skin of the resistant breed compared to susceptible and are displayed in “logFC” column.
