Description

This dataset provides hourly time series data on green hydrogen production potential and solar photovoltaic (PV) generation potential in the New Zealand cities of Auckland and Christchurch. The hydrogen production potential was estimated using the FlexiGIS-H2 tool, which matches simulated residential solar PV surplus generation with residential electricity demand profiles under multiple electrification scenarios. These scenarios vary in terms of electric vehicle (EV) adoption and heating technology mix.
