Description
This research was done by the UCLA Undergraduate Research Scholars Program Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Microplastics Division. The team studied the abundance and distribution of microplastics across Santa Monica Pier Beach, by sampling from back, middle, and low beach according to the EPA Microplastics Beach Protocol.
