Description

The research project looked at whether jobs that were prone to accidents (and therefore put workers at greater risk of being physically hurt) offered higher wages as compensation. This hypothesis was tested using a wages equation. If economic theory is correct, it would be expected that jobs which are more prone to accident would indeed offer a higher wage.
