This research investigates the expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Business Sustainability contexts, assessing AI's capacity to improve Business Sustainability through the management of organizational information, data, and knowledge systems. Employing a systematic literature review approach following PRISMA protocols, the research analyzed 176 publications sourced from Scopus covering the period from 2020 to 2025. Results demonstrate that AI adoption in Business Sustainability encompasses diverse sectors, with technology being the most prevalent domain. The integration of AI is recognized as a driving force for innovation, operational efficiency, and organizational knowledge development. The research emphasizes the growing utilization of AI within Sustainability practices and the dynamic evolution of this academic field. The study offers perspectives on innovation opportunities and future advancement possibilities for AI in Business Sustainability, underscoring the critical need for organizational personnel to harness AI technologies for improved operational performance.
