Making Headway - Workshop - International Brain Injury Association (IBIA), Dublin, March 2023

Heads Together is a multi-university NIHR two year funded project to develop brain injury social work education resources. Making Headway is one such resource. Making Headway is a 90 minute theatre play comprising of a series of interweaving stories or vignettes. Making Headway was developed originally to raise public awareness of brain injury with an initial showing across Essex local theatres. Its application to education, and in particular interdisciplinary education was developed under the Heads Together project as an additional work package. Headway Essex was a Innovation Award finalist 2023 for this work.
