Description

Estimation of the vulnerability to fire of the vegetation in the Cabañeros National Park, Spain, based on the information of the Forest Map of Spain (MFE).The dataset contains:Poligon : The polygon ID of the Forest Map of Spain (1:25000) Regeneration_capacity: Capacity to regenerate after fire, weighted by the capacity of each stratum, based on the fire response type of the species present. Values 0 (no capacity) to 1 (full capacity). Regeneration_time: Estimated Time (years) to recover the pre-fire vegetation state, based on the growth rate of tree species in the area inferred from the 4th Spanish National Forest InventoryLack_regeneration_capacity: Lack of regeneration capacity, calculated as 1-Regeneration_capacity.Vulnerability: Estimated vulnerability to fire, calculated as the product of the lack of regeneration capacity and the regeneration time.
