Tracce di scrittura sul verso del PHerc 1506 (Filodemo, Περὶ ῥητορικῆV Γ ὑπομνηματικόν)

Some traces of writing can be read on the back of two disegni oxoniensi of PHerc 1506 (Philodemus, On rhetoric III, hypomnematikon). In the first of these drawings (no. 1316), both the letters and the shape of the papyrus scroll before it was unrolled are clearly reproduced. In this paper I will analyze the traces of letters in both of the disegni, interpreting them for the first time.
