Description

Photograph of an exterior view of Wee Kirk o' the Heather in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, May 3, 1939. The church is made of stone bricks and a tiled roof; above the entrance a circular-shaped glass mosaic is noticeable while what appears to be a belfry sits directly above of it, on the roof. In the foreground, a grassy lawn covers the right area, while additional vegetation surrounds the site. In the right far background, a monumental building appears to be sitting on top of a hill, showing a large star on its top.; A small description on the envelope of the photograph reads: "Federal Writers Project of Southern Calif, Los Angeles May 3, 1939. No. 2332" and "Wee Kirk o' The Heather, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale".
