Description

Photograph of a birdseye view of the Roosevelt Dam on the Nevada - Arizona border, [s.d.]. The large, curving concrete dam can be seen at center. Tall, rugged mountains can be seen on both sides of the structure, and Lake Meade is visible in the foreground at right. Large quantities of water can be seen pouring down the edge of the dam at center. The dam is located seventy-five miles east of Phoenix, Arizona, and provides water to the 300,000 acres of land in the Salt River Valley.
