Description

This is a photograph of a man carving a statue of the Little Flower at the Mission at Fushun. "Crucifixes, candlesticks, tabernacles and statues were needed for chapels. A fine wood carver filled all these needs and inexpensively. From that beginning grew the woodcarving department, where orphan boys and others are being trained."
