BETA-FOR_SP7_Hanging_Deadwood_Microbial_Fungal_OTUs_2018_2021

In 2018, we hung out two small logs on 60 plots in Uniwald Sailershausen. 1x F. sylvatica, 1x P. sylvestris. The logs were hung in the centre of the plots. In 2018 we took an initial sample (drill sample for the microbial community and wood slice for determining mass loss as a proxy for decomposition). In 2021 we took another round of drill and slice samples. The dataset here is the community matrix for determined fungal OTUs of the wooden logs.
