Modulated and Coded Signals with Channel Interference & Fading Simulation Data

Li, Li

Description

For a realistic scenario simulation, 30 classes of modulation and coding signals are generated using signal simulation devices. It includes 28 digital modulated signals and two analog modulated signals. The digital modulation signal is combined with four channel codes, namely LDPC, RS, TCM and TPC codes, and seven modulation modes, namely 2FSK, GMSK, BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK, 8APSK and 16APSK. The simulated modulated signals are without channel coding and named as AM and FM respectively. To better simulate the actual communication environment, Gaussian white noise or non-Gaussian white noise and a strong bursty interference are added to the 30 signals. The SNR ranges from -8 dB to 20 dB and is uniformly distributed over a 2 dB interval. Both time-selective and frequency-selective fading channels are used.
