CCS/CCU Governance & Water Bow-Tie Evidence Table

This dataset supports a bow-tie risk assessment framework for carbon capture and storage/utilization (CCS/CCU) projects in the context of water resource governance. It compiles evidence from peer-reviewed literature, government reports, and organizational documents to link hazards, causes/threats, barriers, and consequences. Each entry is coded into bow-tie elements, enabling structured analysis for risk assessment and policy development.Data were compiled and coded solely by Matt Weisner. Sources were screened for relevance to CCS/CCU and water governance. Extracted information was categorized into hazards, causes/threats, preventive barriers, mitigative barriers, and consequences.Provided as .xlsx (with variable dictionary and metadata) and .csv for maximum compatibility.
