Description

Developing a diagnostic model for peritoneal metastasis (PM) in gastric cancer (GC) based on routine examination results is of substantial clinical importance. In this retrospective study, we enrolled 813 patients from two medical centers and established a robust diagnostic model by integrating multiple routine examination modalities, including CT scans, endoscopy, pathology, and hematological tests. Data from Zhujiang Hospital served as the training cohort, while data from Zhongshan People’s Hospital constituted the validation cohort. Patients identified as non-peritoneal metastasis (non-PM) from both centers were combined to form the metachronous PM cohort.
