Description

Main objectives of the proposed project are focused on characterizing exercise-induced dynamics of extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from biological samples (serum, cerebrospinal fluid) obtained from different populations (young healthy, elderly healthy, individuals with mild cognitive impairment/MCI, patients with Parkinson disease/PD), identifying their tissue origin, and characterizing their microRNA and protein profiles. Aim of work package 2 of the project was to characterize the profile of microRNAs in serum and CSF-derived EVs and their acute exercise-induced changes with the aid of miRNA sequencing.
