Description

These are the input, configuration, and output files from global tidally-forced MOM6 simulations.Input files: regional.mom6.nc (grid configuration), depth_GSTOFS24_to_MOM6.nc (bathymetry), NycanderDragMOM6_full.nc (internal wave drag), tpxo9a_sal_AmPh_rnm_revamp_allconst.nc (self-attraction and loading)Configurations: MOM_input_M2 (barotropic run foced by M2 tide), MOM_input_K1 (barotropic run foced by K1 tide), MOM_input_M2K1 (barotropic run foced by M2 and K1 tides), MOM_input_4T (barotropic run foced by M2, S2, K1 and O1 tides, with 4 filters), MOM_input_2F (barotropic run foced by M2, S2, K1 and O1 tides, with 2 filters)Output files: ocean_geometry.nc (grid configuration), HA_ssh* (harmonic constants for sea surface heigth), HA_ubt* (harmonic constants for zonal velocity), HA_vbt* (harmonic constants for meridional velocity), HA_bsl* (harmonic constants for baroclinic sea level)Note that the harmonic analyses were performed online (while the model was running), and the time series data of model output were not saved for any of the simulations. If one is interested in the time series data, rerunning the model using the input data and configuration files provided should be straightforward.
