Description

This dataset contains input parameters, simulation output, and representative results generated using PC1D simulation software (version 6.2). Simulation studies the effect of base resistance, doping concentrations of emitters and back-slit surface fields (BSFs) and the lifetime of a large amount of carriers on the performance of n–p–p+ silicon monocrystalline solar cells. Data include CSV files of efficiency trends, I–V characteristics and doping changes under standard testing conditions (AM1.5G spectrum, 0.1 W/cm2 radiation, 25°C). The data set supports the paper "Optimization of electrical and structural parameters in silicon solar cells using PC1D simulation".
