Description

Acorus tatarinowii Schott is a common perennial herbaceous plant found in regions south of the Yellow River in China. It is recognized for its significant medicinal properties and its role in aquatic ecosystem restoration. In this study, we constructed a telomere-to-telomere (T2T) reference genome of A. tatarinowii using advanced sequencing and assembly strategies. The assembled genome has a total size of 359.36 Mb and exhibits high-quality metrics. It contains 57.51% repetitive sequences and 24,879 annotated protein-coding genes. This work provides a valuable foundation for future research on the phylogenetic relationships, evolutionary history, and genetic characteristics of A. tatarinowii.
