This dataset includes 1,046 unique individuals from the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) cohort who were selected based on the availability of baseline 3T structural MRI scans, including FLAIR and MPRAGE sequences. For each participant, demographic information such as age at scan, sex, and race is provided, along with medical history details including hypertension, diabetes, and hypercholesterolemia, as well as social history factors like alcohol use and smoking. The dataset features quantified total white matter hyperintensity (WMH) volume and volumes of five distinct WMH spatial patterns identified through voxel-based spectral clustering. These spatial patterns represent anatomically and potentially pathophysiologically unique WMH subtypes derived from advanced voxel-wise clustering analysis. The data were generated from harmonized baseline MRI, enabling standardized comparison across individuals. This comprehensive dataset supports research into WMH heterogeneity and its associations with demographic, medical, and lifestyle factors in aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
