Description

Propagation phase contrast synchrotron X-ray micro-computed tomography dataset of the Late Permian younginid stem-reptile SAM-PK-K7710 (Iziko Museums of South Africa). Generated on the BM05 beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility. The region of interest of each dataset are nearly complete skulls of four individuals preserved in a burrow aggregation. The datasets are divided into 4 vertical series each focusing on a skull (labelled a, b, c, and d, indicated after the collection number). The following letter s is an abbreviation for skull, followed by the version of the vertical series (starting from v1 and incremented in case of acquisition failure).
