Very Long-term Iberian Fish Database

The Very Long-term Iberian Fish Database (VLT-fish_Iberia) is a comprehensive compilation of 86,107 fish remains drawn from 441 samples across 225 archaeological sites throughout Iberia. Spanning approximately 90,000 years – from the Middle Palaeolithic to the 19th century – the VLT-fish_Iberia Database offers a resource for a range of disciplines concerned with aquatic environments, human occupancy and resource exploitation. As datasets of zooarchaeological records are never definitive or complete; thus, the VLT-fish_Iberia will be updated within reasonable and possible conditions, maintaining the recording procedures.
