Files related to a Picture-Based Language Production Experiment on Subjective Motion in Mandarin

The dataset contains anonymized responses from a picture-based language production experiment designed to investigate subjective motion in Mandarin. One hundred native speakers of Mandarin produced spatial descriptions of picture stimuli representing different entity types and perspectives. The data provide empirical evidence for examining construal operations, aspectual choices, and experiential motivations in language production.
