Description

This dataset was created to support the study and recognition of the developmental stages of zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos. The primary objective is to enable the automatic identification of the first developmental stage, which is the optimal moment to perform microinjection procedures used in experimental studies on disease modeling and developmental biology. The dataset is annotated into three distinct classes, corresponding to different embryonic conditions:Stage 1 — Embryos at the earliest developmental stage, suitable for injection and further experimental manipulation.Advanced — Embryos that have progressed beyond the first stage; although not suitable for injection, they can still be utilized for other types of biological or pharmacological analyses.Dead — Non-viable embryos that must be discarded and are not suitable for any experimental use. This classification allows for training and evaluation of image recognition models aimed at automating embryo selection and monitoring developmental progression in zebrafish-based research
