Topics in this survey are groups having most power and influence in Australia, countries threatening Australia's security, roles of men and women, performance of Prime Minister Fraser and Opposition Leader Hayden, causes of industrial disputes, relations with Russia, whether Australia should become a republic, and abortion. Standard variables are country of birth, marital status, education level, religious denomination, church attendance, occupation, trade union membership, occupation of head of household, age group, sex, vote intention, vote at last Federal election, subjective assessment of social class, number of persons in household, number and ages of children under 15 in household, home ownership, gross income of respondent and household and whether on telephone.
