Description

This retrospective study enrolled patients with AIS who received IVT between January 2020 and June 2025 at Jiangyin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Jiangyin Clinical College of Xuzhou Medical University. The inclusion criteria were as follows: (1) meeting the diagnostic criteria for cerebral infarction[15]; (2) having received IVT; (3) meeting the criteria for the LAA subtype according to the Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) classification[16]. Exclusion criteria included: (1) Bridging endovascular treatment (EVT) after IVT; (2) stroke etiologies other than LAA; (3) absence of computed tomography angiography (CTA) results for the head and neck arteries; (4) missing key laboratory data, such as lipid profiles.
